The Tulalip Nutrition Department promotes positive nutrition and healthy eating practices through collaboration with and direction from the Tulalip community.
The Tulalip Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) is an evidence-based program that encourages individuals to live healthier lives. Tulalip SNAP-Ed provides education to the community on the importance of good nutrition while learning how to make their food dollar stretch further. Participants also learn to be physically active while developing good exercise habits. The program will promote good nutrition at community health fairs, present nutrition education classes, and work with other systems, and the environment of the community to promote increasing health.
Serves Tulalip tribal members and Native Americans who reside within Snohomish County and are enrolled with a federally recognized tribe.
