Healing Lodge

MISSION:

To provide a culturally sensitive transitional home that provides a safe, secure, supportive and stable environment for Native Americans seeking to maintain a clean and sober lifestyle.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

  • Residential clean and sober living environment.
  • Transportation to and from Chemical Dependency/Mental Wellness groups and individual counseling sessions.
  • Transportation to and from a minimum of three (3) sober support group meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, other support groups like Crystal Meth Anonymous, and cultural activities such as sweats, powwow, and family nights.
  • Assist with connecting residents with educational activities such as life skills trainings, budgeting, post generational trauma, and Red Road to Wellbriety.
  • Assist with clean and sober activities and events to promote self-sufficiency and working toward a successful transition back home.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have documented clean and sober time of a minimum of 14 days.
  • Must be a tribal member of a federally recognized tribe.
  • Rent is based on 30% of a Tulalip Tribal member's unrestricted income.
  • Rent for other tribes is $500 per month.
  • All prospective clients must enter through Tulalip Tribes Family Services Department, must pass a background check, and must have a current MH/CD evaluation to be eligible to reside at the qʷibilalʔtxʷ Healing Lodge.
