Jim Steinruck has been in Healthcare Administration for over 44 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington State College, and an MBA in Health Services Management from Golden Gate University. He is proud to be a 21 year, retired, U.S. Army veteran (Medical Service Corps, Major).
Jim has worked for the Tulalip Tribes since November 2015 and serve as the Health Administrator of the Tulalip Health System, which encompasses the Karen I. Fryberg Health Clinic and Behavioral Health, Recovery and Chemical Dependency Services.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a 35-year member of Rotary International, formerly serving as President. He also represents Tulalip Health as a founding member of the Snohomish County Health Leadership Coalition, and a board member of the North Sound Accountable Communities of Health. Additionally he is Tulalip’s alternate delegate to the American Indian Health Board (Washington State), an alternate delegate to the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, and member of the Advisory Committee to the Snohomish County Health Board. He also serves as one of the Fire Commissioners for the Lake Stevens Fire Department.
