Nassim Huertas, ND, is a Naturopathic Doctor providing primary care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients under the age of 65. She has a particular focus on mental health and stress-related conditions, and she has advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and biofeedback. Dr. Huertas is highly skilled in herbal medicine and specializes in helping patients create sustainable lifestyle changes that align with their personal values, goals, and lived experiences. Her approach to care is grounded in patient empowerment, collaboration, and whole-person healing.
Dr. Huertas earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington and her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. She completed a two-year residency at One Sky Family Medicine, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive primary care. Her early clinical experience includes surgical research at the University of Washington and a medical mission in the Philippines, which shaped her understanding of the limitations of conventional medicine and solidified her commitment to a holistic, preventive approach to healthcare. Today, she integrates this strong biomedical foundation with compassionate, individualized care that supports patients at every stage of health.
As a first-generation Filipina-Iranian American, Dr. Huertas takes pride in her diverse heritage. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys cooking and baking, staying active through sports, cheering on Husky Football, crafting botanical medicines at home, and spending time in nature.
