Marlena has over 6 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Renton, WA. Marlena has worked in different areas of healthcare, including Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Weight Loss Centers, and Concierge Medicine. Her passion for helping others stems from her desire to positively impact people's lives. Marlena comes from a first-generation family and has always been involved in interpreting and assisting her parents with their medical appointments. She is keenly interested in learning, personal growth, mental health, family, and beauty/makeup. Marlena plans to return to school to achieve her dream job and is currently exploring different career paths.
At the Tulalip Clinic, Marlena has found a sense of belonging in the tribal family, even though she is not Native. Being Mexican-American, Marlena can relate to many of the values and traditions of the Tulalip people. She is committed to serving this community and improving patient care.
