Grace Scarborough, RDN, CD, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience in chronic disease prevention, diabetes care, kidney health, and community nutrition education. For the past few years, Grace has partnered with our Tribal community and, in collaboration with the Tulalip Diabetes Care & Prevention Program, has provided diabetes education, community outreach, cooking demonstrations, and nutrition classes to improve health outcomes and support healthy lifestyle changes.

Grace has experience working with individuals living with diabetes, chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic health conditions. She has provided individualized nutrition counseling, developed educational materials, facilitated group classes, and collaborated with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve access to nutrition services and preventive care.

In addition to her clinical and community work, Grace has presented at professional conferences and contributed to community-based health initiatives focused on health equity, chronic disease prevention, and nutrition education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. She is passionate about culturally responsive, patient-centered care that empowers individuals and families to use food as medicine. She believes this approach will bring good health, healing, and wellness to individuals and, ultimately, to our community.

Grace is excited to continue supporting Tulalip Health System's Food as Medicine, Clinical Diabetes, Pre-diabetes care, and Food Sovereignty initiatives through education, clinical nutrition services, and community engagement.
